Place: Hilton Hawaiian Village Coral Ballroom

Time: 6pm - 11:30pm

Cost: $88 per person/includes Chinese Dinner, Exhibitions, Coronation of the Queen, Waltz performance by the Queen and her court with Dance Magic 808 escorts and several hours of ballroom dancing on a big dance floor.

Come and support our Dance Magic 808 dancers, Richard Nakamura, Bradford Tom, Paul Laderta, Roy Ninomiya and Larry Arinaga, who will be dancing a choreographed waltz routine with the Queen and her court.

Please contact Lynn Nakamura at 372-2256 via text or email or phone for reservations.  Check payments should be made payable to the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii and forwarded to Lynn Nakamura. Right now we have about  4 tables.  Please let me know right away if you are interested in attending.  If you haven't attended, you should make it a must see on your list for 2018.  If you have attended you know it was a lot of fun and there was a lot of ballroom dancing until 11;30pm.

We are thrilled to celebrate the magic of ballroom dancing with anyone who has ever wondered what it must feel like to glide across the floor in perfect unison with another person. This event is FREE for everyone and includes dance demonstrations, dance lessons, and a professional show! During the month of January, we are offering a complimentary 30 minute personal lesson with one of our amazing dance instructors. This offer is for our (non-student) open house guests. Whether you are a long time lurker, or just want to learn a few basics, if you have ever thought about taking personal dance lessons, this is the perfect opportunity! All complimentary lessons expire January 31st so reserve your spot before they are gone! Light pupus and wine will be provided for your enjoyment. Aloha Everyone,

We have only 20 seats left for Dance Magic 808's  New Year's Eve Ball.  If you are interested in attending please contact  Lynn Nakamura (808-372-2256), as soon as possible.  Last year we had a really awesome time but we had to also limit the number of guests that attended.  Unfortunately, we could not accommodate everyone that wanted to attend.  Call me asap and make payment to hold a seat for you.  Payment due date is Thursday, November 30, 2017.  You can either drop it off to us at our class on Thursday night, November 30 or mail check payable to Dance Magic 808 and mail to Richard Nakamura, 1676 Ala Moana Blvd. #1101, Honolulu, HI 96815.  Mahalo to those of you who have already made your payment. Your seats are confirmed.

Place: Prince Waikiki Hotel (formerly the Hawaii Prince Hotel)  - It's a beautiful hotel and is located on Ala Moana Blvd. on the right side, going into Waikiki. It's the first hotel on the right.
Time: 6pm - 12:30am
No Host Cocktail: From 6:30pm
Plated Dinner: 7pm - 9pm  
Cost: $75 per person
General Dancing from 6pm (last dance around 11:50pm), impromptu exhibitions, New Year's Toast at 12 midnight.  We plan to have a lot of fun and we hope you'll be able to join us and celebrate the New Year.

If you haven't signed up yet for our 2018 membership.  you can sign  up at the dance. Last chance to sign up and enter free of charge. After Dec. 29, if you sign up for membership at the dance, it'll be $13.00 ($10 for membership and $3 for entry fee).

Membership Fee $10,  expires Dec. 31, 2018.  If you sign up that night, entry to the dance is free. (Click on Dance Magic 808 in the side bar to download 2018 Membership Form). Please use this form as it will make it easier for you to type in all your info and it'll be faster to process at the membership desk.

Entrance fees:

2017 Member: $3

Non-Member: $6

Join 2018 Membership (valid Jan. 1 - Dec. 31, 2018) - $10  membership fee - no entrance fee (sign up for this night only)
