This coming Wednesday, September 29, 2010, WASABI will be at Dole Cannery's "Bump On The Hump". Come on down and join us at this GREAT new venue! Lots of convenient parking, big ballroom with large dance floor, lots of seating, and AIR CONDITIONED! Good pupu menu you can build a meal on, and great service! Doors open at 5:00 p.m. with music to start at 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.
Thursday, September 30, is a special celebration for our friend, mentor, and WASABI CD producer, George Chun. George was diagnosed with prostate cancer a while ago and has been undergoing radiation treatments. We're celebrating his "graduation" from radiation treatments with a special performance by George at Don Ho's Island Grill with Al Waterson's Variety Show from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Come join us this evening and listen to George sing his renditions of Sinatra songs, and of course, see Al Waterson in action being one of Hawaii's greatest all-around singer, comedian, emcee & host. Hey, maybe even Milton may get up and do his "Dying Cock-A-Roach" thing! You'll never know unless you come and join us...call 528-0807 for reservations.
