I am so excited to announce the date for our semesterly showcase at Ala Moana Centerstage! Belly Dance Raqs is made up of two sister student organizations at UHWO (2 years old) and UH Manoa (in its second semester). Both organizations are made up of both student and non-student members, all with a love for the art of belly dance and led by Sammie in Hawaii (Samantha Giridhar). Lilikoi Dance is Sammie's advanced troupe - now in its second semester as well, Lilikoi Dance is made up of dancers who are committed to challenging themselves and pushing to the next level excelling in technique, complex choreography, and prop work. Admission to this troupe is by audition only. Special guests to be announced soon! Stay tuned!
