CUPOLA is located on the 2nd floor of the Honolulu Design Center @ 1250 Kapiolani.
Admission is FREE & it's OPEN to the PUBLIC! Pupus and beverages are
available for purchase!
Get down at the CUPOLA, in time to welcome all the festivities in the month of May, the month when Spring is in full swing, beginning with our Islands' very own May Day celebrations, followed by Cinco de Mayo.......May is also National Physical Fitness and Sports Month... Second Sunday of May is Mothers' Day!....it's all there waiting for us in MAY!!!!

REMINDER TO HOP!!! THIS FRIDAY AT THE PALLADIUM
WOW! HOP!!!??? Dat's a word dat I haven't heard for eons since the 50s. HIP HOP or BUNNY HOP or just plain HOP? In any case, if it's a HOP hosted by USA Dance, it's gotta be geared to a night of fun dancing and more. Glenn and USA Dance have always put on a good and enjoyable dance show and here's one evening this Friday to have fun dancing at the Palladium. Read on.......

Nifty 50s/60s/70s Oldies Bash

If you're planning to attend the 2012 "Bash" and haven't yet turned in your registration form, please do so with a flash. The door to this year's event has a small opening now and may be closed much earlier than announced according to this recent e-mail that I received from Wendell Kwan, Chairman of the event........

Can't begin to tell you how much my core committee and I REALLy appreciate your continued help and assistance in helping us spread the word about this years fabulously exciting upcoming Nifty 50s/60s/70s Oldies Bash Sock Hop 2012 via your blog linked above! From all accounts, phone calls, e-mails and communications there is a tremendous amount of anticipation, anxiety and excitement in the air! Currently, as of April 13th, Paid Registrations are Ten Times (10X) ahead of last years Registration pace! TEN TIMES!
At our current Registration pace we will, again, be completely SOLDOUT and much sooner than the August 1st date we soldout last year! We are now anticipating that we will be completely SOLDOUT by July if not the beginning of June 2012! Official Deadline has not been changed to August 1st, 2012, but on a First Come, First Served basis we will completely sellout way before that date! Also just to inform everyone, the special hotel room rates reservations are going fast as for safety reasons, and relaxation, our guest don't have to worry about drinking and driving! We have the perfect success formula and with experienced gained, IT WORKS!

Pan Pacific Ballroom Dance Society 37th Anniversary
WOW! This year is moving pretty fast as we leave March Madness and begin April with some rain showers and windy days. But the dance goes on for Pan Pacific Ballroom Dance Society 37th Anniversary. Dance Magic 808 First Anniversary Ball
Hi Everyone,
Richard & I started started the ballroom dance club, "Dance Magic 808" last year and with the help of our friends and students, it has really grown in just a year's time. We will be celebrating Dance Magic 808's first year by having an "Anniversary Ball" on Friday, July 6, 2012 and would love to have you come and share in the celebration. Please let us know as soon as possible if you will be able to attend because we are expecting the tickets to be sold quickly.We plan to start working on the table assignments for Dance Magic 808's 1st Anniversary Ball next week so if you and your friends want to sit together or make a table of 10, please contact us as soon as possible. See attach flyers. There will be a lot of dancers and non-dancers attending so we need to start working on the seat assignments. We plan to make this, the "Ball" of the year and be a very memorable evening for all. You won't want to miss this dance event.There will be a delicious buffet dinner, lots of exciting and beautiful exhibitions, time to socialize and lots of time to dance, dance, dance.
Come all dressed up like a Queen or Princess or King or Prince (not a requirement). It'll be a fun evening, seeing old friends, and making new acquaintances.
Audrey Fu is our Decorations Chairperson so you know the ballroom will look magical and enchanting.
If you are planning to attend Dance Magic 808's anniversary ball and would like to stay at the Pacific Beach Hotel, please fill out the form and submit your request to the hotel by fax or email or call in your reservations to the hotel. Please note the cancellation policy of 45 days and 72 hours. Cancellation received after 45 days (May 14, 2012) and up to 72 hours, you will be charged for 1 night and if you cancel less than 72 hours, you will be charged for the entire stay. Check out time is 11:00 am not 11:00 pm, it was a misprint. Please book early as rooms are limited.
We hope you'll be able to attend our ball and share a wonderful evening with us.
